Earth C's US President bin Laden says Sarah Palin is "my kinda gal"

ROTTERS (Washington) - In the midst of an unusually jovial press conference today, President Bin Laden declared his support for vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin."She's my kinda gal," said the president. "She's strong on defence, strong on gun rights, opposes abortion in all circumstances, advocates book-banning, is strong on policies like making rape victims pay for their own forensic tests, and uses the government to attack her enemies such as her ex-brother-in-law."Mr. Bin Laden concluded, "She has a God-centered view that our country needs in these end times. She knows that God wants us to have pipelines as much as He wants us to fight wars."Governor Palin, speaking at a campaign stop outside of a new, multi-million dollar Halliburton spoon washing facility in Cobb County, Virginia, thanked the president for his support and called upon the crowd to "pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right."Wearing a dazzling jacket emblazoned with AT&T and FISA logos, Mrs. Palin said of US military personnel, "This country, our leaders, our national leaders, are sending them out on a task that is from God."That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan. So bless them with your prayers, your prayers of protection over our soldiers."Later on, Governon Palin addressed God's advocacy for Alaskan pipeline development."I can do my part in doing things like working really, really hard to get a natural gas pipeline," she said, "about a $30 billion project that’s going to create a lot of jobs for Alaskans, and we’ll have a lot of energy flowing through here."And pray about that also. I think God’s will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that."
