An infrequent event, at any rate ;-) The info is in the link, but I would also like to say here that this story, which came to mean a lot to me as I was writing it, was inspired by a crazy prompt from Jeff VanderMeer. Jeff also kindly read the monstrously long thing and gave helpful crit.

Hoooooooray! Great news indeed. The Etched City was such a great read. I’ve been fiending for more of her work.
