Epiphanies

So, I just finished watching Step Up 2, and I’ve had two major epiphanies.

1. I might be an “okay” writer, but deep down, in my blood and in my soul, I’m a street dancer.

2. I need to own a hoody, right now.

I watched out of morbid curiosity, but the film totally changed my life. Who wants to dance with me?

  1. ‘Take The Lead’ (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446046/) is a better bad dance film I think: it has shades of ‘Dangerous Minds’ in Banderas’ “how do I reach these kids?” handwringing and the contrast between Classical and Street dance is better depicted. Better as in “more lulz”.

    Also I feel that ‘Step Up 2’ comes off poorly compared to the first: the stars don’t have as much charisma. Quite a feat when you consider that the male lead was Channing Tatum, a man who makes Keanu Reeves look like Sir Ian McKellan in terms of acting and appears to be hewn from solid concrete like those heads on Easter Island.

    You do have the heart and soul of the most badass dancer that ever was.

    Would you like me to get you one of those :-)

  4. Although I’m not keen on the design or the pricetag, this is a hoodie with an interesting twist: http://www.urbanindustry.co.uk/products/product.asp?func=show&id=52941
    Maybe the fact that I’m in the midst of a dismal London winter makes it seem a better idea than it actually is!

  5. i like Chaning Tatum because eventhough he has a bulky body, he can still dance so well”

  6. i like chaning tatum because he has a great body, just look at those chest muscles .’;

    At first I thought you told Google to call the library, and it did, and that blew my mind.

    Then I realized that you actually called the library, and my mind became unblown.
    I’ll get back to work…

    If you ask my opinion about this topic I really like. Thank you for sharing your friends. Hope to see you another day.
