I’m curious about your Aliens novel. I know Jeff has written a book for the Predator series, and I’ve seen Eric Nylund’s site and have two of his Halo novels.

How do you get a contract like that?

Is a certain publishing history or previous level of success required? Do the publishers approach the writers, or is it the other way round?

I don’t know much about this aspect of the business and would be interested to learn more.
