Books Received: Vargas, Tremblay, Ryman, and More
Since I’m coming up for air from a great week of novel-writing, here’re recent books received. Note that these really are books received, not “books Auntie Barnswallow bought me so the other bloggers wouldn’t make fun of me”. Enjoy!
P.S. Note “Ender in Exile”. In related news, I plan on writing “Dradin: The Asylum Years” very shortly. After that, it’ll be Ambergris and the Elves of Shannararara, The Halo of Ambergris, Ambergris Left Behind, and then, finally, Ambergris versus Predator versus Alien versus Terminator versus Porky Pig (Ambergris wins). Thank you, and good night.

Bah! There’s nothing wrong with posting books bought as well, especially when those end up being more appealing personally than half of the books received. After all, I have looked into some of those books you listed that you said you bought and of the ones I’ve read, almost every one I enjoyed quite a bit, since they were very much the sorts of books I wanted to read. So maybe in the near future there could possibly be a post about books bought again?
But out of the books you have here, I’ve received about 1/3 of these. Didn’t know there was a new edition of the Vargas Llosa – that book was awesome when I read it in Spanish a few years ago. One of my favorite authors and possibly my favorite of his many fine stories.

One thing I love about books being published in the USA are the covers. Some of those above are just astonishing.
And also, since I’m from Ender’s generation: Ender’s Exile WTF?
