Incoming Books Log

Jeff VanderMeer • March 17th, 2008 @ 7:28 am • Book Reviews

We’re gonna try an experiment and until the end of March I’m going to post a photo of the books that have come in for review every day. With commentary, sometimes. Please do chime in if you have strong thoughts about a particular book or have been anticipating one. This photo is a little misleading, as the Apocalypse Reader I’m blogging about today at Amazon somehow snuck in there though I’ve had it awhile.

So, we’ve got some Doctorow, some Weber, Harrison’s interesting-looking thriller/noir, another MacCaffrey collaboration (is she actually writing this stuff any more? it all seems co-written, which raises the little I’m-a-Franchise-Now hairs on my arms). Never read Dantec or Gunn before, to be honest.

    Thanks Rose!
I should note that the Changeling is a really odd book. Like, you can open it up to a page and get something like “lilac lingums frolic in fields of clover by the babbling brook of innuendo.”
