Jesse Bullington Has an Agent!!
Jeff VanderMeer • March 5th, 2008 @ 6:49 pm • Culture
Some of you might remember the post on this blog about Jesse Bullington’s novel, and how he hadn’t been able to find an agent. Proving that blogs are not unmitigated black holes of pure evil and reflexive navel gazing, Jesse now has an agent: Sally Harding. Harding represents Holly Phillips, among others. I expect great things from Jesse, and Harding seems like a wonderful agent.

Wonderful news! I shall wait with only slightly bated breath for news of him getting a publishing deal in the coming months :D

Congrats Jesse!

Again, my profuse thanks to you and Ann both for all your help! The monstrous weight of the door you held open wide enough for me to jam a hoof into cannot be overstated.

If that which you were trying to shove through the door had been a cow patty rather than a diamond, all would have been for naught, however!

Oh, and I’d be regrettably remiss if I didn’t also thank Larry, Mary C. and everyone else who weighed in with bits of varying denominations on the earlier blogs. Thank you, one and all!

Yay Jesse! And Jeff, I hope you will keep us posted about this book’s progress. I’d like a copy very much.

There’s an interview with Jesse’s new agent, Sally Harding, at the official website of SF Canada, the professional association of Canadian SF&F writers; you can read it at http://www.sfcanada.ca.
Sally is one of our newest members.
