Project Runway: Rami’s Drapery Obsession
So in another twenty minutes, Rami might make it to fashion week on Project Runway. For those of you who follow the show, Rami likes to drape. He drapes his dresses. Every damn dress is some kind of drapery. Kinda like the foams of that guy on Top Chef.
Well, at least I know why he has this obsession. In the outtakes on the Bravo website, he explains that his first major sexual encounter was with a high school teacher who had come to his house to tutor him, and they did it behind the livingroom drapes. Ever since, draping and drapery has been imprinted on his fashion soul.
Knowing this does not in any way make it right. STOP THE DRAPERY!
I realize this entire post may be incomprehensible to large numbers of my readers.

And yet…it’s so true! STOP WITH THE DRAPING!

I think I comprehended this…although the drapery images and all that…maybe fiction writers ought to borrow some elements from fashion designers in order to make their stories even stranger? Drape sex influencing fashion designs…truth is indeed a weird thing.

…but not me….
I couldn’t agree more about stopping the draping. Sheesh!
But as long as Christian doesn’t win and gets stepped on by a giant, I’ll be happy.

I usually read your blog on my Blackberry text newsreader…I had to do a double take when i saw this entry…at first I thought I was reading Project Rungay or Blogging Project Runway or eWeekly or TVSquad where I satisfy my unhealthy PR obsession.
the statue of Aphrodite is his soul mate? uggh. And the eye candy of him at Gotham in just a towel….ewww

Michelle–LOL! Yeah, I’m totally sick of Rami. I liked his first couple of designs, but by now…Also, I felt like the judges screwed Chris over with their decision. They should’ve just picked one or the other, and by now Rami’s had a chance to try things other than drapery and hasn’t.
