    Hey Rick–do you think an 8, almost 9 yr old (my godson) who wants to be a writer-illsustrator would get anything out of the panel, or be bored?

    Not sure. I think at the very least, he’d enjoy hearing from people who have actually made comics. This group should be entertaining. Besides, Paul Benjamin currently writes the all-ages Marvel Adventures Hulk, which should count for something to a 9 yr old. If nothing else, you could bring a copy of the comic for Paul to sign. I imagine your godson would enjoy meeting him.
