The Origin of Cosmic Rays

Recent observations from NASA and Japanese X-ray observatories have helped clarify one of the long-standing mysteries in astronomy — the origin of cosmic rays.

Now if they could just explain how cosmic rays created the Fantastic Four…

    Its eerie seeing the passages from the FF. I believe I owned that issue when I was a kid.

    The Apollo 11 astronauts reported repeatedly seeing white flashes in their vision during their mission. This was, apparently, cosmic rays travelling through their brains. As far as I’m aware, Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins did not subsequently develop superpowers.

    Allen: That’s quite possible though that origin passage from FF #1 is one of the most reprinted/reproduced segments in comics history.

    Ian: There’s probably a short story in there somewhere…
