		<description>This definition seems to fit Hugh Cook&#039;s &lt;i&gt;Chronicles of an Age of Darkness&lt;/i&gt; series, which is good, because I&#039;ve always said that he was New Weird before the New Weird &#039;movement&#039; (&lt;i&gt;floruit&lt;/i&gt; 1986-92).</description>
