The Surgeon’s Tale, with Cat Rambo
Debuting at World Fantasy in late October, this book, with cover by James Owen and interior illos by Kris Dikeman, features the novelette “The Surgeon’s Tale,” a collaboration between Cat Rambo and myself. Two other stories round it out: “The Dead Girl’s Wedding March” (Cat) and “The Lovecraft Cafe” (me, MF Korn, DF Lewis). The publisher is Two Free Lancers Press, Cat and my little imprint.
Cat’s a wonderful writer with work forthcoming in Weird Tales, Asimov’s SF Magazine, and many others. I’m hopeful that we will continue to collaborate on stories as we work well together. (Mebbee, not to jinx it, we’ll even write “The Infernal Claw” together!)

Looks great! Will it be available over the internet and for international customers (the UK, in this case)?

Yes, it will. We will be selling direct, which has the advantage of getting at least one if not both of us to sign it. But we will ship overseas for those. And if you prefer, you will be able to find it on Amazon UK, although Cat and I make less off of those sales. (We are, after all, Two Free Lancers.)

If it’s not much more for me, I’ll probably buy it direct to help support you guys. (And I have the exchange rate on my side with that — everything’s half price!) After all, if you both wind up back in day jobs, then I’ll have less of your fiction to read, and that would be a sad thing indeed.
