ForeWord Magazine Engages in Suspect Behavior?

If you go to the Foreword Magazine site, they’re actually offering a critique service that steals the Clarion name and logo. I mean, that’s just absolutely ridiculous. Absolutely insane, really. I find it hard to believe that the name and logo font are coincidental.

Well, it certainly doesn’t look good – I looked at both logos, and you’re right: there is a striking similarity, to to say the least.

I’m not too keen on the way they’re marketing their critique service, either:

“Use the review in your press kit, blurb your cover, highlight in your marketing campaigns.”

Then again, what do I know?

Yeah–it’s a bit of a scam, in addition to the other thing.
