Bumbershoot Blog Entry–MySpace Feature

My blog entry on the Shriek movie and Clarion charity antho was a featured Bumbershoot and MySpace blog last week. Check it out.
I’ll be in Seattle this weekend for the Bumbershoot Festival. I’ll be speaking during the program “Superheroes, Heroines, and a Strange City” on Saturday September 1 at 5:15 PM at the Leo K. Theatre, along with Nicola Griffith and Austin Grossman, with Therese Littleton moderating.

Not to sound like a cheapskate or anything, Jeff, but do you know if there’s a way to attend this panel discussion without paying the usual Bumbershoot fee? The spousal equivalent and I would like to be there, but seventy bucks is a little steep.

Unfortunately, I don’t know. Their site might have some info. I do agree it’s a little steep to see one thing.

Well, I figured it was worth asking. I always wanted to waltz through a door saying, “I’m with the band.”
One way or another, I’ll turn up, so you’re guaranteed an audience of at least one.
