Choose Your Own Adventure?

Via Kameron Hurley, I found this very funny riff on the choose-your-own-adventure idea.

I don’t know much about CYOA books. But the twink on the cover of “Timmy’s First Gay Bar” needs to loose the Sergeant Pepper outfit and get some nicely ripped denims or he’s not going anywhere. The bear in the background’s a little better – is he already wearing a biker cap? But he needs to leather up.

Mmm…ripped denims… They’re a bit passé now that tight jeans are back (in the UK at least), so twink boy is almost there. I think if I was in a bar full of Vikings I’d be more worried they were going to start singing “Spam, spam, spam, spam…”

Guy, I live in Greenwich Village on the site of the twink Comstock Lode. It’s ripped denim all the way. And the bar full of Vikings will do Sondheim styling that’ll bring tears to your eyes.
