Oy. Some catty-ness here from the reporter, in giving Butler’s sales figures. For example.
But, goes to show: you can live in a place like Tallahassee and not know what the heck’s been going on.

I must admit that I love this story. The weirder and more obtuse Butler’s language gets (telling Gawker he hopes they will come around to exploring “the truths of the human heart”!), the more I love it. If that makes me wrong, I don’t wanna be right.

Well, he’s here in town and the one time I met him he was a very pretentious prick, to be honest. And I don’t hear good things from students in his classes, but who knows. And, Gwenda, I should’ve thanked you for the link!
